Wakey Wakey!

Down the shop early this morning, it’s that time of year, and eventhough it was raining this was the sunrise.

RWC as viewed by Clem Wigley

Over the last week I have heard of number of peoples views on that RED CARD INCIDENT however Clem Wigley, an illustrator from Cardiff, somehow turned it into a means to depict his dislike for one of his characters called Zen Dawg.

what the bear would like to do to the dawg!

what the bear would like to do to the dawg!

At the moment Clem is working on a couple of projects, one involving the Bear in a cartoon called Zen Dawg (they have a love hate relationship) and the other is a story about a Mrs Gloo (the ref) who is a something of a man/woman/witch character.

Nice 1 & good luck with the projects.

Wales RWC Heroes mug

Given the response to the Wales RWC Heroes 2011 T-shirts that went up on the website yesterday, we decided to create a similar Wales RWC Heroes 2011 mug design with a simple colour adaptation.

I hope you have many hours of enjoyment sipping out of this mug while recalling the exploits of the team in New Zealand.

Wales Rugby Heroes T-shirt

As much as it was painful to lose the game on the weekend and long will it be debated as to whether Sam should have been red carded, the performance the boys put in for 61 minutes with just 14 men was truly awesome. In truth, if our kicking has been on target we would have beaten the French handsomely.

Wales Heroes Rugby World Cup 2011 T shirt

Celebrating the Heroes of Welsh Rugby in New Zealand.

But it wasn’t meant to be and yet I felt to my core that the Welsh team did us more than Proud and as a nation we should celebrate this.  So here’s the T-shirt that was designed purely to champion the Teams efforts in New Zealand where they might not have won all their games but they certainly beat the opposition, and for this we salute you.

Cym-on the lads

To say Wales as a nation is a bit excited at the moment is something of an understatement – and we can tell first hand as orders for Welsh Rugby related products are flying in.

As mad as its has been, we decided that we needed to design a bespoke tshirt just for the occassion so that everyone can show that they are 100% behind the boys.

So just off the design board our Rugby World Cup 2011 CYM-ON WALES t-shirts are now available on the website in 3 different colouts for the ladies and 4 for the men.

The Welsh shop news blog goes live

As part of our ever evolving philosophy we have now added a news blog to the welsh shop website. The aim of the blog is to provide a medium where we can post notifications on products, product launches as well as competitions and to provide our customers an area to open discussion with us and provide feedback.

If you are already a fan of the welsh shop on Facebook then you will automatically receive blog posts as we have linked the two mediums so that posts are automatically updated on both.

Cheers
