about usabout usThe Welsh shop was founded in 2002 by Brinley Williams who also owns a number of other e-commerce businesses which include Celtmyth a personalised candle company, Mug Shop, a personalised mug company & I Do Directory, an online wedding supplier directory.As the name suggests, the welsh shop specialises in welsh gifts, welsh clothing, welsh flags and a host of welsh related paraphernalia and it is continuously growing as we are keen to showcase quality products produced by new & existing welsh businesses alike. Our premises are idyllically located in one of the old Craft Workshops based in the grounds of Tredegar House, an ancestral home that belonged to the Morgan family in South Wales. It is one of the best examples of a 17th century Charles II mansion in Britain. If you are ever in the area please pop in and see us, Brinley and Helen would be happy to meet you. In March 2012, Tredegar House is to be leased to the National Trust for 50 years and we are eagerly looking forward to working alongside them and to welcome all Trust members to a truly wonderful historic house & gardens.
